I have very limited film taste at present, but this is the format I will use to express as I see new films and prioritize, rank and rate them. Am I neurotic? Sure. Is it worth it? Definitely.

Great list! Several of my favorites are on here. Have you given Andrei Tarkovsky a shot?

Thank you so much! Tarkovsky is definitely on my radar. Nostalghia and Stalker are among my highest priorities to acquire to view very soon.

Along with the two you've mentioned, Mirror is one of the great masterworks of cinema (imo). If you're looking for 8/10+ I'd go with The Sacrifice too. Also, Andrei Rublev is amazing, and Solaris and Ivan's Childhood are superb.

I look forward to them all. Thank you so much for the recommendations.

Limited eh? You seem to have a good start. Give some Fassbinder, Bresson and Tsai a shot... seemingly incongruent with Woody Allen, Kubrick and Scott; but if you're a fan of Tarkovsky there's still hope!

Don't know if you're still hanging around this site much, but if you are, please participate in my TOP 10 FILMS OF ALL TIME POLL.
