BEST 1000 DANCE TRACKS [1984-2009]

Just realised the list didn't have a Nostrum track... Just added his great track from 1996 "Brainchild"

d91's favourite electronic songs

Nice list d91.... you already know which ones of those I prefer... but I didnt know the Chromium track.... it's an epic track, but it shouldn't be a suprise because Platipus Records usually released great tracks.

BEST 1000 DANCE TRACKS [1984-2009]

Yeah I guess Scooter & Ultra-Sonic are more on the Happy Hardcore side of things but a few of their tracks on each album hybrid the HH with trance... but personally I just love all three of those albums suggested regardless of the specific style. I think artist like early-mid 90s Westbam, Marusha & RMB may be more what youre looking for.

The Party Time track is good. Hadn't heard it since I went to a Moby concert in the mid 90s. That JR Funk "party time" sample has been used on so many dance tracks...

d91, did you find any good tracks by those artists I listed for you, like Westbam & Scooter?... The Scooter album "And The Beat Goes On" was good for that trancey happy hardcore sound.... I used to kill that CD on my car stereo... & even Ultra-Sonic did some good work on that sound.... Their albums Tekno Junkies and Global Tekno were pretty good.

All nice tracks d91...

I liked Ravers nature back in the day... made good hardcore tracks... I prefer the Original mix of the Viola track.... The Alibi track (AKA Tiesto & Armin) is a good one too.

Top 400 trance tracks of all time

DarkTremor... YOU ARE A MUPPET!!!!...

I initially thought that your list was ok, as you seemed to know about the Classic Trance tracks that I grew up with... and I previously added posts to assist you in making your list more solid... but it is now clear to me that you are nothing but a Generation-Y know-nothing, that tries to pass himself off as some genius in all matters... including trance music... Stop trying to make yourself out to be some trance expert... you weren't there when this stuff evolved, unlike me... Damn, you are only in your mid-20s, what the hell would you know...

I read your profile recently and it has to be the biggest load of ego-maniacal, self-absorbed crap I have ever read online....

Here's a link if others haven't read this spew...

Anyway, I won't bother posting on this list anymore, as its just flooded with noobie trance-lovers who really have little perspective to debate the artform seriously with someone who has been listening to it for over 20 years...

Socoban,

I think you need to get over your criticism of the fact Airbase isn't in the list... I don't mind some of his stuff (mainly his remixing of others tracks), but there is nothing amazing about his production, that would grant inclusion in this list.... BUT as I have said before, one third of this list isn't amazing.... so I guess you could add one more NON-AMAZING track by Airbase to this list, and continue it's tradition at being an average list.

The more concerning thing, is the fact that you have, in some way been "influenced" (as you say in your post) by darktremor... In that instance, I feel very sorry for you, as DarkTremor is a self-absorbed MUPPET... and if you don't believe me, read his Profile.... I have never read a bigger load of crap on any website in my entire long life.
