I decided to add both Ultravoilet tracks to the list for now.... (Kites & I Wish That)... I just love Maria Nayler's voice... Most people think Kites is the best, but I actually prefer the more ruffer sound of I Wish That...
Some decent tunes there..... the Iron Eden track is the best there, of the ones I don't have on my list (IMO)... love the track... it's awesome....
The Elephant Paw track is great (bit cheesy now), but I bought it as soon as I heard it back in the day.... but you may want to hear DJ D Lite's "Just Groovin'" as thats where the whistle sample came from as far as I remember...
PS - Boccaccio Life's Secret Wish is one of my fave trance tracks & Todd Terry's Something's Going On is one my fave Speed Garage tracks...
The Gift is already on the list... The Domination track is a very good harder edged track.... For What You Dream Of is a class track.... never really got into the Emerald track, but I haven't heard the Filterheadz Remix, so I will go and check it out.... never been much of a fan of Aphex Twin's stuff, even the highly popular Widowlicker gets on my nerves....
I can't make a personality judgement of DarkTremor....i don't know him... but I can judge his list and how he responds to contributors of his list.... I guess I don't hold back on my thoughts of his list, because he seems to me, to be so rude and disrespectful to others who don't know the old stuff that he knows.... So i guess I just like putting him in his place (for those he disrespects), becasue he can't battle with me, because unlike him... I WAS THERE....
But that doesn't mean that I know everything about EDM.... I only know 0.00000000001% about dance music.... there's purely too much out there to know all.... My list is just the tracks that I know, respect and/or love....
Yeah, I loved breakbeat hardcore & hardcore techno, but jungle/drum & bass weren't a favourite of mine. Drum & Bass has always been big in Perth... Summed-up by the fact that the number one DnB group "Pendulum" is from here.
Yeah... hands-in-the-air stuff.... but when you get to my age, you need that stuff just to get you off the sofa and on the dancefloor.... and I like hard tracks, but Hardcore has too fast BPMs for my liking...
Yeah I know about the Pob track.... I've checked out a lot of the Platipus catalogue... IMO some of the Art of Trance & Union Jack tracks were the best from that label
Sorry lyceaum, shouldn't assume that only guys get fully into their dance music...
I'm sure you'll find more tracks you like... I only ranked the first 100, and even those I'm not really confident that others in the 1000 shouldn't actually be in the top 100... The other 900 are in no particular order... In fact one of my favourite Downtempo Soul tracks by Family Stand is at 999.
CJ Bolland's Camargue is another class track
I prefer the "Loop Da Loop Uptown Mix" of Something Goin On...

I'm pretty sure I put Red Herring in the list... Good track....

Yep... it's full of Brits, so whatever happens in britain, Australia will shortly follow by doing the same...

Yeah its a Hooj track (pardon the pun).... Definite dancefloor filler
Yeah I know about the Pob track.... I've checked out a lot of the Platipus catalogue... IMO some of the Art of Trance & Union Jack tracks were the best from that label
Yeah, not a huge fan of acid in general, I love the big tracks like Higher State and Access though... I did however love 80s Acid House.
I know about the PQM track... I think d91 recommended it last year to me. It's a nice track.
Thanks for liking my list d91... I've put a bit time into it, but I'm still not entirely satisfied with it... Will keeping working to make it better.
And you already know what I think about DarkTremor's trance list...
Sorry lyceaum, shouldn't assume that only guys get fully into their dance music...
