I had a pretty good feeling that "The Dark Knight" would top your list once you got to see it. "Cloverfield" is still my top with "Mamma Mia!" in second (really a feel good time!) and "The Dark Knight" in a strong third. I'm not sure if these films will waver throughout the rest of the year. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed "The Dark Knight" and can't wait to see it again!
I wholeheartedly agree with you about "Batman Returns", I believe it's the best in the series and the one I definitely enjoy! I think it's due to Catwoman. I was really a fan of the character from the Batman comics and thought Michelle Pfeiffer did and excellent job. I was, however, let down by the 'Catwoman' film. I guess I expected it to be somewhat the same, but to no avail. Anyway, great film!
Oh yeah, still a fan! I thought part III was a bit weak, but still found some redeeming quality, and part IV I really enjoyed. The films are always released around my birthday and it's been a give in that they're going to take me. :) I'm curious to see where part V takes us.
Out of curiosity, how long does it usually take US films to make it to the UK? For example, "Kung Fu Panda" and "You Don't Mess With The Zohan" opened here yesterday, when are y'all getting them?
Hey guy, I know I've said this before, but we've got a lot of the same taste in films. By the way, love the photos! I've really got to work/update my list. Take it easy.
We've had some bad weather, just downright miserable , and it was the perfect time to stay home and watch movies. And yes, I am somewhat of an insomniac. I'm lucky if I get to sleep 4 hours a night. Actually, this is my typical routine. If you look at my viewing log's in the prior years, you'll see that I just enjoy film. As far as sores go, don't have any yet! ;)
Man, you sound like me. I became a TCM fanatic about 3 years ago, though I always enjoyed classic films, this gave me a new appreciation to delve further into the classic genre. Classic films are phenomenal, and with the rash of remakes the originals prove to be more entertaining. Well, from one TCM 'junkie' to another, happy viewing.
I didn't know what to expect, but I was intrigued by all the hype and the teasers that had been online all past year. I really had an enjoyable time, exactly the type of film I crave. It was done in "Blair Witch" style (camera point of view) and puts you right in the action. Monsters, action, adventure...I couldn't ask for more.

I'd say so. Three times at the cinema!?! Wow! Right on guy! It's well worth it! Gotta get back to see it myself. ;)
I have the flick, now my curiosity is piqued, I'll have to watch it in the near future. Thanks for the recommendation.
Glad you enjoyed it! It's truly one of the best I've seen in some time.

I have "Alphaville" and it's coming up soon. Thanks for the other suggestions, I'll check 'em out.

Wow! I've got terminology?? ;)
Thanks for the link, I appreciate it.
I'd like to play again, though I'll probably wont be able to see as many films.
Yeah, sure, I'll play again. Who's maintaining the list this time?
