Swedish words and phrases of the day (from "How to Learn Swedish in 1000 Difficult Lessons")

I don't think I would classify förlåt as an adjective. Isn't it a verb?
In English you'd say "I'm sorry", but in Swedish you'd say "Förlåt mig" (forgive me).
