As crosgrove said nobody admits they like them. oh and the fact is that most people do know the songs but not the group (well among my friends anyway. So this would be Swedish people between the ages of 16 to 24. Therefore I find them underrated, but acctualy you might have a point in that some of there songs could be called overrated...)
Well anything is milion lightyears away from Per so thats not that suprising. But I do not agree with you that they are as good as they are hyped to be. I have seen so many so much better both frontpersons and songwriters than them. And no Cranberries can´t be underrated because I haven´t heard anything by them in the last, at least five years. While I throw my radio at the wall when Cardigans song #500 comes on. (Allthough I don´t have any radio to listen to anymore)

Both Kraftwerk and The Smiths have there fan followings how think they are gods give to man and so on. But the reasoning is more on there rumor than on there music, and then there are people how hate them ´cause of there rumor and therefore they have not even tried listening. Yet they might thing the groups are good when they hear them (such was my feeling of the Smiths, they bloody overrated I thought, and probably suck. And then I listened and liked them...)
Acctualy I like Kraftwerk to, but they still are overrated. People think they are good just because they are Kraftwerk, instead of listning to the music. And acctualy I think that some of these can be both the most underrated and the most overrated, as Kraftwerk my be. People goes on rumor instead of on muic.
smultronstället means idilic spot, but i comes from the world smultron, and that means wild strawberries (a thing I didn´t now, as I think these are two widly diffrent things), and ställe which is another world for spot or place of intrest. Its an, what are they called, this things. Oh well I guess you can get it.
