- Queen Anne Bolyn, executed May 19, 1536 (second wife of Henry VIII, mother to Elizabeth I and was beheaded after accusations of adultery and incest)
- Thomas Cromwell, Earl of Essex, executed July 1540 (he arranged for Henry VIII's marriage to Anne of Cleves which ended in disaster and as a result lost favour with the king and was beheaded)
- Margaret Pole, Countess of Salisbury, executed 1541 (ran from her executioner and was hacked to pieces when he chased her)
- Lord Northumberland, executed 1553
- Lady Jane Grey, executed February 12, 1554 (was queen for nine days before her cousin, Mary Tudor overthrew her and ordered her death)
- Guildford Dudley, executed February 12, 1554 (husband of Lady Jane Grey, his death was ordered by Mary Tudor)
- Catherine Howard, executed 1542. (charged with adultery after a love letter was discovered written to Thomas Culpeper, Henry's favourite male courtier
- Guy Fawkes, executed January 31, 1606 (involved in the Gunpowder Plot to blow up Parliament)
- Sir Walter Raleigh, executed October 29, 1618 (went on trial for treason, supposedly he was involved in the Main Plot, that was supposed to remove James I as King and replace him with his Catholic cousin Arabella Stuart from Spain)
