This is a good list. It's pretty clear that you know your R.E.M. highlights. They are one of the few bands that had continuous quality through all their releases.

Hey man. Ever heard of Husker Du? I've heard a couple music sources group them with R.E.M. as one of the most influential post-punk/college rock bands of the 80's. I must say they are pretty amazing - as is R.E.M.
