I used to watch anime on french TV in my younger years... so some titles may not be accurate because I only know most of them under their french names... but my favorite animes as a kid were... Maison Ikkoku... Orange Road... Dr Slump... and when I was a whole lot younger... Battle of the Planets and Captain Harlock (the first series from 78) and also the live action series San Ku Kai Message from Space (I know it's not anime but I enjoyed that one so much, I have to put it in this post).

I'm currently watching Maison Ikkoku - it will be somewhere in my top ten when I've finished it. I also plan to watch Kimagure Orange Road in the next couple of months.
