What I'm Listening to Today: 2/17/04
David Bowie - "ChangesBowie" - 10:00 A.M. - Yummy. Totally Bowie-licious. A great showcase of his earlier works up the the 80's.
Francois Couperin (1668-1733) - "La Sultanne" - 1:30 P.M. - Beautiful combination of harpsichord and violin.
Joshua Bell - "Sibelius: Violin Concerto, Op. 47, Goldmark: Violin Concerto, Op. 28" - 2:30 P.M. - As the title states, these are violin concertos, performed by the same young man who performed for the "Red Violin" soundtrack.
Franz Lehrndorfer - "The Concert - Celestial Harmonies" - 5:10 P.M. - Awesome classical organ music. Nice change of pace from the violins that have been haunting me today. Not that I don't like violins, it's just pleasant to hear something different, especially from a haunting instrument such as the organ. This is rare music, indeed. I don't get to hear organ pieces very often.
