What I'm Listening to Today: 1/13/04

"Afterglow" - Sarah McLachlan - I got away from Sarah McLachlan following her "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" album. I just didn't think anything she did could beat the track "Possession." So over the course of the next decade I didn't listen to her. My library had a brand new copy of "Afterglow" and I thought, "what the heck, why not," so I picked it up. I was glad I did. I'm writing this review the next day (1/14/04) so I can't go into details on my exact emotions at the time I was listening to it, but I feel that I will be looking to purchase this album. It's not just the voice, it's the music as well that makes this album "own-able." Now I feel I should go back and check out the albums between "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" and "Afterglow" just to see what I was missing!
