So I recently found myself facing an hour long train ride to Chicago with no reading material. This is a cardinal sin. So, I stopped in at Walgreens, and checked out the book selection. Slim pickings, indeed. So I reached for a paperback with the phrase "New York Times bestseller" prominently displayed. I thought I was in for an hour of dull reading, but I actually enjoyed reading this book. Obviously, even considering reading books found at Walgreens is outside the norm for me. So I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed reading Sense of Evil .
Just goes to show you that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, or the store from which it was purchased.
