Everybody Else Was Doing It...

I simply don't have the time to put into listology anymore, witness the review backlog for proof:

Jean De Florette
Only Angels Have Wings (1939)
Rififi (1955)
Children Of Paradise
Tokyo Story
The Day After Tomorrow
Spartan
Shrek 2
Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban

Witness the albums I’ve never added to the Big 500:

Sam Phillips: A Boot And A Shoe
Wire: Chairs Missing

And many other promised postings that simply vanished along the way.

Rather than eke out a peripheral existence as stooky widdling away at tasks I don’t have the time to invest in, I’m taking back my personal life, there’s no telling where that could lead. I’m starting my own web-site next month and that will be taking all my attention. I’ve enjoyed posting so much I realised I no longer wanted to be a member of a website, but the head honcho on my own tiny piece of web space. So tallyho, I hope my 2 avid readers have enjoyed my ranting.

As always, anyone who wants to contact me can e-mail stewkly@gmail.com.

P.S.: I'll check in a couple more times to make sure Grandpa_chum gets his movie game up and running.

Well Jim, looks like it'll soon be just you and me.

Stooky, I'm sorry you and I went quiet lately after getting along so well. Hope you'll look in on The Listology now and then. It was great having you here. Don't forget to post a link to your new website.

I'm happy to hear you're not leaving, bertie! We've had quite an exodus though, haven't we? I have high hopes some of these folks will still pop in from time to time, or even return in force. But time will tell.

Stooky, you heartbreaker, you. Good luck with your recaptured personal life, and please let me know when your website goes live. I hope it includes an RSS feed!

Oh, not only are you a heartbreaker, you're a tease. I would have loved to read reviews of these movies in particular:

Jean De Florette
Rififi (1955)
Children Of Paradise
Tokyo Story
The Day After Tomorrow
Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban

Ah well, best of luck, and please stay in touch!

Whoever your "personal life" is, I will try not to be jealous ;).

Oh stooky, your rantings and wit will be missed. I hope you'll stop in when you have a spare moment, and send us a link to your web site.

Aack, why is everyone leaving? Not that I've been particularly visible here since my computer broke, but that will change.

Stooky! I will miss you greatly; I guess I was one of your two avid readers, although I confess I did not always comment as often as I should have.

If you ever change your mind, we will be here. Good luck!

Shalom, y'all!

L. Bangs

Oh no! Stooky, I was quite a fan of your wit and writing. You will be sorely missed.

I hope your personal life goes well. Good luck, and make sure to drop in some time just to say hi.

Thanks everyone. ;?| <---winking with Brando-esque intensity stook

That ones for you AJ.
