My favorite books [with free ebook links!]

  • The Fountainhead : (Ayn Rand); This book was my favorite of all time by the first chapter, hell just look at the opening paragraph!:
  • Howard Roark laughed.
  • He stood naked at the edge of a cliff. The lake lay far below him. A frozen
  • explosion of granite burst in flight to the sky over motionless water. The water
  • seemed immovable, the stone--flowing. The stone had the stillness of one brief
  • moment in battle when thrust meets thrust and the currents are held in a pause
  • more dynamic than motion. The stone glowed, wet with sunrays.
  • I cannot explain how this novel moved me, it is arguably one of the most life-changing books I have ever read. free ebook download here!
  • The Count of Monte Cristo: (Alexander Dumas); This book still remains one of my favorites today, as I read it when I was in 8th grade. I think I've read it about four times. free ebook download here!
  • The Exodus: (Leon Uris); THIS IS NOT THE FUCKING BIBLE!!!!!! Just to make it clear. Anyway, I read this novel yyeaaarrsss ago, and all I remember of it really is utterly sobbing at the end. I mean torrents of tears. Then again, the time period that I read that in was extremely emotional for me. Highly recommended. I forgot about this book until I found it hidden in my shelf just a couple days ago. free ebook download here!
  • Where the Red Fern Grows: (Wilson Rawls); I read this book in 8th grade also, twice in fact. I remember crying both times. It's amazing how touching some novels can be. free ebook download here!
  • Second Foundation: (Isaac Asimv); I ALSO read this book in 8th grade, and I remember being dumbfounded by it. I skipped the entire rest of the series, but this book was very challenging for me at the time, and I ended up getting wrapped up in the simplicity of the ending. free ebook download here
  • A Time To Love And A Time To Die: (Erich Maria Remarque); Yes, I have read All Quiet On the Western Front, I just genuinely enjoyed this novel more. The ending was horrifyingly realistic.
  • The Clan of the Cave Bear: (Jean M. Auel); Fantastic Book, fantastic series. To write about this novel would take wayy to long, but if you REALLY want to know about it, just click here. Mothers especially will love the series. free ebook download here!
  • The Sword of Truth Series: (Terry Goodkind); This entire sci-fi/fantasy series is the best out there in my opinion. In fact, I may just devote an entire list to just reviewing all twelve books in the series. Don't watch the television series. Just don't. free ebook download here!
  • Shogun: (James Clavell); This is also a series, but the first book is widely accepted as the best. It is more than 1,000 pages, and every word counts. Awesome story about 1500 Japan, definitely worth the read. free ebook download here!
