Cloned From:

finally someone else who didn't hate the ladykillers... i think it's pretty damn good.
oh yeah, its great. i love the mix of totally different characters having to come together, the outburst and fights are great. i love the panning shots of the river and the intro is great. very haunting in a way.
[Bang!]
What was that!!??
Well I'm not sss-ure i heard anything aa-t all
i think maybe too many stupid people expected it to be more of an eccentric all out comedy than it really was... i too loved the river shots, my favorite part of the whole film... actually don't remember a whole lot else.
yeah you're right, its not an Anchorman! :-7 its strange because though directed by C.Brothers, i always think, that ladykillers, is a great example of what a tim burton comedy is like. (mainly focusing on Beetlejuice)
What? Fahrenheit 9/11 average? Why?
Ha! no that is a mistake, lool thx. i meant to put it in "Very Good" - i liked it.
Ah well.
P.S.: Lost in Translation in Tier "Good". Hmmm...I should really watch that one. I've got it on DVD (since nearly 7 weeks!) and I haven't yet watched it.
0h yes please do watch it! its really outstanding! murray as always is very funny
Good would have been good enough for Farenheit 9/11. I hate George W. Bush and Dick Cheney too, but some of that movie was mularkey and was more propaganda than documentary. I mean it is strange that the Sercet Service is watching the Saudi Arabian Embassy, and we let the Bin Ladens leave America right after 9/11. I mean, they may not have known anything about Osama but It would have been nice to question them and make sure. The part where Bush is sitting in the class room and stalling. Doesn't show Andy Card with a sing telling him to stay sitting, but even so, Ann Coulter's an idiot for not thinking the president should get up immediately during a terrorist attack. Bush and his people are full of manure, but that doesn't mean Michael Moore gets too be either.
I still don't get why people hate KB vol. 2 so much and love vol. 1 so much... but i guess that is just the way it is...
and shrek 2 really should be in EL SUCKO GRANDE... the first one was average, the second one was just a collection of funny references to pop culture... who really cares.
oh and if you didn't already know... i love school of rock too... such an underrated movie.
yeah the thing with Kill Bill volume 2 was that i loved volume 1 so much that 2, with the lack of action compared to first, didnt seem as good. but don't think that i'm an "Action movie" fan becuase as you know from my taste in fimls (quirky, different) that that is far from the truth! School of rock is a great movie, one of the best this year without a doubt, so funny, so sweet and of course jack black on top form!
