Author Comments:

This will be a much smaller list (yes, speaking to all 3 of you who will read this). Not because I haven't seen a lot of animals in other countries, but because my arthropod book limits itself to Belgium and the Netherlands (and some from surrounding countries). I will probably be able to add all other species. Hopefully.

Also, I've decided to leave out the animals I've also seen in Belgium.

I'm curious, which animal did you find most interesting?

Most interesting is a difficult question and I'm afraid I'd have to say I don't know. There's too many interesting animals out there. Plus, I'm one of those people who gets incredibly excited every time I see a beetle or a slug I've never seen before.

Now, if you'd asked what the most spectacular and breathtaking animal was, I would've said the pack of humpback whales I saw in the Dominican Republic.

Wow! That does sound amazing. Have you ever seen a Blue Whale (or plan to)?

Never seen one, but I'd love to see one (or more) someday. But I'm afraid they're probably a lot harder to find.
