Many people have asked me, when they find out that I've watched nearly all of the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, "Which ones do you REALLY have to see?" There are many more of the 1001 which are worthwhile, but see these first.

This list is taken from all editions of the book, so that I could include some later titles.
