Do you have music -> sight synaesthesia?

On trippy electronic tracks, if I close my eyes I can visualise all kinds of stuff. There is some conscious effort, I mean it doesn't appear on its own if I close my eyes. Nothing in actual vision or while listening to other genres though.

Might not be synaesthesia, but sounds close at least. Basically as long as it is consistent per song over time, that's what really counts. For example, if a song is 'yellow', it will always be 'yellow'. Moreover, you will experience the same intricacies you experienced.

I'll give a few examples. Note, I am only describing very little of what I see because it's often really hard to describe. With electronic music, my colors tend to fill my vision more.

Banco de Gaia - Last Train to Lhasa: The prominent string played in it is a diagonal line that is green on one stroke and white on the other. There is a dark blue background

Union Jack - Red Herring: Black background. Has lots of reds and browns. Some oranges and some other colors. The part at 2:55 is like rotating circles of dark orange. The bouncy acid during this part is kind of like equilizer visualization bars. They bounce up and down. I can kind of visualize the vocals in the track too... sort of purplish. 6:43 is the most orangish part of the song. So much I can't explain! Interestingly enough, I listened to it on weed (as of this writing, only smoked it twice. As a side note, see (*)) once, and I was astonished that my synaesthesia for it was drastically different. Instead of being reds and blacks, it was white and blue; very watery in nature.

Choice - Acid Eiffel: If you read my description on my trance list, kind of like that, but without the metaphors.

Sasha - Xpander: Quite yellowy. It's also kind of speckles. Has whites and browns too.

(*) Both times I got high, I got really, really fucked up on weed. The first time, I was under the impression that it was an average high... so I smoked even more my second time. I was also sick. Turned out I had an ear infection. Then I listened to Hallucinogen - In Dub (which I had never listened to before) and got EXTREMELY terrified. Hallucinogen - Mi-Loony-Um (A Floating Butterfly Stings Like a Bee Mix) is the first track, and boy did my synaesthesia kick in! The music had physical form. I lost myself when I closed my eyes and drifted 'elsewhere' and was like an observer. Then I thought of Lovecraftian creatures and got horribly spooked. I thought I had listened to at least 40 minutes of this stuff. Turns out, I listened to around 15 :D. So my first 'bad trip' (if that is the right word for it). Oh yeah!

Lol, sounds really crazy! Hallucinogen In Dub is great, I really liked it. The tracks are distinct from the originals.

I haven't checked if the visuals remain same for tracks. I generally visualise on the really trippy stuff, so anything pops into my mind's eye. Its like maybe I'm going through this tunnel at high speed, and then the tunnel goes upwards and it ends abruptly. And I'm thrown into space where there rows of shapes (like circles..) stretching into infinity. Then the rows suddenly tilt upwards and I'm flying past them, go through a circle and suddenly I'm in another place which is a riot of flashing colours. The colours recede and become a point and then suddenly other points enter my field of vision (because I'm going backwards). There's a whole matrix of points which fills up quickly and becomes full of flashing colours again and so on....its good fun seeing where the music takes you :)

This might sound a bit crazy, but then what is acid trance for?
