No particular order. A 'musical orgasm' or 'shiver moment' is when a point in a song when the music climaxes, and a shiver runs across your spine. These are the moments that do it best for me, see more of my picks (and others') here. Feel free to post your own!

How about the geniune metaphorical orgasm at the end of the Nine Inch Nails song "Closer"? The whole song's structured like a sex act.

Yeah, that one's slightly (only slightly) more subtle than Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love.

When Costello cunningly sings, "...it only took my little fingers to blow you away", followed by swirling madness.

From "The Great Curve" by Talking Heads, "The world of light is gonna open your eyes up..."

Several Dylan hamronica solos, especially "Queen Jane Approxamitely" and of course "Desolation Row".

The grand exit of "Thunder Road" by Springsteen.

Any solo by Duane Allman, especially "Statesboro Blues".

"Eclipse" by Pink Floyd.

Some others I thought about:

"Take Good Care" - Pernice Brothers, 'Flaming Wreck' - 4:12
"Fill the Room" - Rilo Kiley, 'The Good That Won't Come Out' - 3:40
"That's Why..." - El-P, 'Stepfather Factory' - 2:20
"Descent into Gibberish" - At the Drive-In, 'Cosmonaut' - 2:45
"You Robbed Me" - The Mars Volta, 'Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt' - 8:10
"What It Feels Like to Let Go" - Converge, 'Jane Doe' - from 8:58 to 11:33
"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" - The Afghan Whigs, 'Omerta' - 2:43
"Howl of Love" - The Afghan Whigs, 'Bulletproof' - 5:17
"Return of the Rabbit" - The Afghan Whigs, '66' - 2:27
"Thrown" - A Perfect Circle, '3 Libras' - 2:01
"As High as We Can" - The Dirty Three, 'I Offered it Up to the Stars and the Night Sky' - 10:10

Wow, you put some work into that. NICE!

I do try... :-)

oops! I intended to hunt these down when you originally posted, but I forgot. NOW I'll find them :-)

I listenedto ALL of those now, and I liked:

Afghan Whigs - Omerta
Dirty Three - Night Sky
Pernice Brothers - Flaming Wreck

and ESPECIALLY:

Mars Volta - Take the Veil Cerpin Text

I almost liked Cosmonaut but not quite.

Glad to hear I could steer you towards some good music. :-)
