Author Comments:

I am frequently getting caught up on how much I like the sounds of different words, the way they roll off the tongue or fill the mouth. These are words I enjoy saying, reading, or hearing, and several I love to use also because of their meanings.

It sounds like you're a poet at heart. I don't get poetry, but apparently it's more about the "sound" of words. That might be something you'd be very into (unless, of course, you're already into it).

I've always thought that role of poetry is more about exploring the subtle meaning of words; they entice us to explore beyond their surface because they are not presented in a conventional manner. That said, tone is very important in poetry, I just don't think that it is its principal purpose.

Ah, makes sense. Poetry is the one art I don't really understand, so I'm going to have some misconceptions about it. Sounds like you're already a poetry fan though :D
