  • Just interested. Also I think it isn't too personal to post here. It doesn't pain, so take 2 seconds and post below. Thank you.

JC

Like John Cassavetes.

Aaaa! that are mine too! ;)

Maybe these are frequent initials. I don't know.

Somebody knows which are the most frequent initials? Some all-knowing listologist? 0dysseus? :-)

I think it would vary greatly country by country. If it weren't for all of the characters I'd say that the answer had to come from China.

Off the top of my head the best/closest guess would be to take the first initial of the Top Ten (20, 50, 100...) most popular first names in aggregate and pair it with the first initial of the Top Ten (20, 50, 100...) most popular last names also in aggregate.

In Vietnam the answer is almost certainly *anything*-N as close to 40% of the population has the last name "Nguy?n" (I bet directory assistance loves that.)

Pick a country and give first and last... although "popular name" referring to babies doesn't necessarily translate to all of society. I'm praying for the return of "Myrtle" just as soon as the "Jessica" fad passes.

It seems that in Sweden the gift shops are constantly out of the E.J. monogrammed towels... although it is possible that Magic Johnson is picking up his Peace Prize.

Simply wonderful. As for great links I can always trust on you.

Thanks very much for the interesting theories and the great links.

An amazed 1922 [who doesn't know where 0dysseus gets always the right links, but who suspects that 0dysseus might be the one who is controlling the Internet] :)

I also decided to count listologists' initials, so maybe we get to some result for this site at least (but only if enough people participate).

Last but not least some thoughts:

Methinks that Ricardo and David are wonderful names for boys.

And why aren't there more people who call their children Jeff?

JR

Take a wild guess...

:-)

Ah ah, now that seems obvious.

K.S.

And a great idea by the way, the list.

Thank you.

R.G. Very friends, really, what with Rachel Green and Ross Gellar. Other than that I don't think I know any other R.G.'s in the flesh.

WM here!

I'm an MS.

AP - as in journalism and really difficult exams. My 3 letter initials are the same as an Australian financial company. It was great seeing huge buildings in Sydney with my name on them. :-)

Ok, cramoukji's real-life initials are SG
It's not highly glamorous I know, that's why I hesitated before telling you but well, that's one more dream shattered, then.

Come on, SG is not less glamorous than JC or other initials. Thanks for telling me.
