- The 1999 South African general election was the first election I was old enough to vote in. For every election I investigate all the parties' actions and platforms. As yet I've only ever voted for the Green Party (GPGP, GPSA), or spoilt my vote by writing in "None of the above", tho I admire the United Democratic Movement (UDM) even if their platform has too many positions I disagree with to vote for.
- 1999 national: Green Party.

- 2000 local ward: spoilt, writing in "None of the above".
- 2004 national: spoilt, writing in "None of the above".
- 2004 Western Cape: Green Party.
- 2006 local ward: spoilt, writing in "None of the above".
- 2009 national: spoilt, writing in "None of the above".
