- Seabiscuit (2003) (I had to see what all the hype was about. I want my 141 minutes back)
- In the Army Now (1994) ("I'd better call 976, find a doctor and tag an ambulance, 'cause you're gonna tear off my toe and spit down my head!" - I think you'd have to be me or my brother to find that amusing)
- Praying Mantis (1993) (Jane Seymour's character in this movie really gave me the willies. Other than her portrayal of the "Wedding Night Bandit" or whatever they called her, this movie was mediocre. I'll bet Barry Bostwick is embarrassed to have been in this one.)
- Panic (2000) (Awful, simply awful movie! Why does it consistently receive so much praise?)
- Heavyweights (1995) (Though not one of the greatest movies ever made, "Heavyweights" is still nice to have on in the background while doing chores around the house. It's funny to see how many people dislike this movie because they "hate fat kids" and think it "makes obesity acceptable." It's just a movie, for crying out loud! It would be different if the premise was published in, say, the New England Journal of Medicine. Jeez.)
- Ernest Goes to Africa (1997) (Call me crazy, ill-educated, low-brow - but I like this movie. Of the nine "Ernest" movies (of which my family owns seven), this and "Goes to Jail" are my favorites. Why? I'm a sucker for dumb comedies...)
- The Pianist (2002) (I watched this alone when it first came out on video and cried. When I watched it again a few weeks ago with my dad, he kept asking me, "Why is this movie called 'The Pianist'?")
- The Usual Suspects (1995) (What can I say... I love this movie. It also seems to have a knack for bringing people together - leave a copy lying out when you have visitors, and you'll be guaranteed repeat visits.)
- A Simple Wish (1997) (I bought this movie when it first came out and subsequently managed to lose the tape. So, when "A Simple Wish" was on the Disney channel the other day, I had to watch it. Martin Short is the quintessential bumbling fairy godfather who manages to botch every wish he's supposed to grant, which forms the premise of the movie.)
- Kiss of Death (1995) (Crime drama is not a genre I enjoy. This movie did nothing to change that. I still like David Caruso, though, in spite of his overdramatic acting.)

Sorry you didn't like Panic! I loved it. Here's my review, for one answer to your "why does it consistently receive so much praise" question. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching this list develop!
Perhaps one needs to be a parent to fully appreciate the movie...
