i love the first 4 or 5 seasons of the simpsons but then it started going downhill. mr. show is GREAT! is freaks and geeks really good? i never saw it when it was airing on tv, but i have the first ep in my netflix queue.
I will buy only the first 7 seasons of The Simpsons, the 6th season is very irregular, but the best episodes are among the best of the whole series, now i think number 8 is the one when the show finally started to go downhill, there are some good episodes after that, it could be cool if they let you choose which episodes you wanted.
Freaks and geeks is one of my favorite series, its a dramedy, but is more funny than drama, one of the things i like the best is that it captures the 80's almost perfectly, my old refrigerator is in one of the episodes, green color and all, is at Millie's home.
OK, just ordered Venture Bros S1 on the back of your recommendation (and some other very positive online reviews). Will let you know what I think!
