Not a Sony person I see?

I'd say thats a fair comment :) in fact, i did have a ps2 and really liked it. However, i mainly got one due to two franchises, Smackdown and GTA series. So ps2 to me was more, the smackdown / gta console as i rarely played any other games on it. When they moved over to Xbox 360, less reason for me to get a ps3, plus its a lot of money.

Yeah, I myself am not too big of a fan of Smackdown lol. I love GTA though! PS3 is a lot of money (I have the original), but it has NEVER once screwed me over in any way. All of my friends have 360's, and every single one of them has fucked up (at least once, and they have had every "generation" of them). The games for 360 are fun (though I'm not a hardcore gamer myself...), but I enjoy Sony's selection more. Just personal pref. Anyway, I wish you luck with your gaming =D! (I have spent over $740 on PS3 games XD).

Have you ever played Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the GameCube? I can't imagine coming across too many games I'd like better than that one.

Engrossing story and characters, an innovative "sanity meter," and just an all-around challenging, terrifying experience.

I came close to beating it for the first time this past summer--I had never actually sat down and went through the whole thing, though I've always loved it--before realizing I had missed picking up an item earlier in the game that made it almost impossible to beat the final boss. Gaahhh.

Maybe I'll start it anew soon...

never played it, but i feel your pain with the thing about not picking up an item. i hate it when that happens, i also don't like it when games involve a lot of back tracking.

it does really help when the characters and stories are rich, something that more and more games are doing as time goes by.

yeah give it another go. Though i must admit myself, if i fail at finishing a game, i'm usually so annoyed, it is like 6 months before i can even face looking at the disc , let alone playing it ! i fine example is Dead Space. I love the game (though there is a fair bit of back tracking :( anyway i've got to a point i cant finish, that was 2 weeks ago, and i can see it being a long time till i attempt it again.

I think it actually has been almost six months since last I touched it...

I would love to play you at Mario Kart 64. I consider myself to be quite an accomplished booster :)

haha nice :) well i always think im doing that welll especially the 1,2,3 start boost im like "1, press, 2, press (oh yeh i got it) 3...FAIL!!" :)

I think you misunderstood. While your "sliding" (jump and hold) around a turn you can swivel your cart and build up these speed bonus' that are released after you're done sliding. If you get it down (takes a little practice) you can improve your times greatly.

oh yeah i know now, yeah i like doing that. i dont know if u ever played double dash on the GC, but i consider myself pretty good at getting those corners as close as i can on baby park track

Unfortunately I never played that one. The SNES version is amazing as well.

Actually I have not played any of the games you have mentioned in your top 10. There are so many cooking games

PC games are created by one or more game developers, often in conjunction with other specialists (such as game artists) and either published independently or through a third party publisher. They may then be distributed on physical media such as DVDs and CDs, as Internet-downloadable shareware, or through online delivery services such as Direct2Drive and Steam. PC games often require specialized hardware in the user's computer in order to play, such as a specific generation of graphics processing unit or an Internet connection for online play, although these system requirements vary from game to game.
