Summer 2004 Reading List

  1. Don Quixote - Cervantes
  2. On the Road - Jack Kerouac
  3. A Moveable Feast - Ernest Hemingway
  4. Catch-22 - Joseph Heller
  5. Green Hills of Africa - Ernest Hemingway
  6. The Cousins' Wars - Kevin Phillips
  7. Last Man Standing - David Baldacci

I found Don Quixote qutie tedious and Catch-22 was a litle disappointing. I've not read any of the others.

I'm currently reading Homicide: A Year on the Killng Streets by David Simon. It is the story of a reporter's true-life attachment to the Homicide unit of Baltimore poice department, on which the TV series was based. It almost reads like a novel including the detectives' dialogue.
