Vera Drake (2004)
- Any movie that makes you think "good grief just spit it out lady!" has way too much stammering.
Control Room (2004)
- Few things are as pointless as pointing out the venil qualities of the American military, George Bush (plural) is/are the nadir of grotesque weinerdom hence his military become many little weiners, but showing me 80+ minutes of trite blarny and earnest political posturing (ug) can make a sensible person wish he was watching Sin City. I'm a man damn it, give me sex, violence and cheap petrol.
yet they both get 4 stars? even on the 5 star system that seems a little gracious.
What can I say, I'm a complicated guy.
