  • I've recently been granted some time on a radio show, so I'll be playing EDM. Now, no time for specifics now, but I will need help with some genres/sub-genres. * means song recommendations are .... recommended. Any other genres (keeping in mind it IS radio, so no avant-garde) would also be appreciated.

Good choices so far, here are a few more:

Psybient/Chillout - Only ones I know really are Cosmosis - Afterglow, Man With No Name - Azymuth and the Shpongle - Are You Shpongled? album.

Acid - I'm sure you've got loads that you'll put in here already but I'd say Spicelab - Spicecowboy, Art Of Trance - Deeper Than Deep, something Union Jack (I notice you've already put Red Herring in Classic Trance, No One Can Survive Here by them is soley focused on acid), Phuture - Acid Tracks, Bam Bam - Where's Your Child? and The Party Boy - The Twilight Zone (Bam Bam's Corrosion Mix)

Prog House - something off Leftism, probably either Song Of Life or Open Up. Also you could take a few off the first two Renaissance: The Mix Collection albums. Not too up on my Prog House. Rising High Collective have a few good Prog House ones too, I'd recommend Fever Called Love.

Minimal/Microhouse - Ricardo Villalobos - Que Belle Epoque 2006, Ame - Rej, Moonbeam - Eclipse, Isolee - Beau Mot Plage, Nathan Fake - The Sky Was Pink (James Holden Mix)

IDM - Mouse On Mars - Bib, Aphex Twin - 4, Squarepusher - Rustic Raver, Mu-ziq - Muziq Theme

Rave - Smack My Bitch Up is good but Big Beat rather than Rave. For rave stuff from Prodigy I'd say Charly (Alley Cat Mix) or Everybody In The Place (Original Mix). Belfast isn't that ravey either I'd recommend Chime, Satan or something from their Brown Album. More recs: Second Phase - Mentasm, Human Resource - Dominator (Beltram Mix), Outlander - Vamp, Acen - either Close Your Eyes (Optikfusion!) or Trip II The Moon (Kaleidoscopiklimax) and something from The Hypnotist (AKA Caspar Pound), I'd go for The House Is Mine (Original Mix).

Trip Hop - I dunno much except Massive Attack albums. From them I'd recommend either Unfinished Sympathy, Angel, Teardrop or Risingson.

Electro House - something by Felix Da Housecat, I'd say Watchign Cars Go By, Fischerspooner - Emerge, Who Da Funk - Shiny Disco Balls.

Thank you very very much. IDM and Prog House are probably the least I know about.
