What's queued up in the bookcase and at my local library to keep my occupied for the foreseeable future. Suggestions are welcomed.

Here are   my suggestions / recommendations.
Don't know how much you're into SF, but I just read a fantastic book: The Forever War by Joe Haldeman. Very much the anti-Starship Troopers.
I do like SF and I haven't heard of that one. I'll add it to the list. Thanks for the suggestion.
The Forever War by Joe Haldeman is certainly a good recommendation - it almost made my list of favourites.
I read The Golden Compass earlier this year, and I am currently reading volume 2 - 'The Subtle Knife'.
Ooh! I have Brite's Liquor on my list (somewhere) too. Let me know what you think of it.
I'm not sure I'll ever make it through the entire Barsetshire series, but the first two books, The Warden and Barchester Towers, are really funny--in a Victorian way, of course. Highly recommended.
