Hello, I don't know if you're still working on this, but, if so, don't forget Bruce Springsteen as one of the pivotal music stars of the 70s (and the 80s, and the 90s, and the 00s).
This is a bias of mine. I am not a big fan of Bruce Springsteen. My husband likes him, but to me his voice is as annoying as fingernails on a chalkboard.
