Being that I respect the hell out of you buber, I'll have to give these people a listen.

Thanks Jeff. All of these groups are sort of on the harder side. 24-7 Spyz is a more radical Living Colour. I personally prefer their older stuff a bit more than their newer stuff. Tin Machine was a group by David Bowie and it's pretty cynical stuff. Death Angel is pure heavy metal, but I think they have intelligent lyrics. Black Happy is an especially guilty pleasure, as they are probably one of the best bands to come out of Idaho in recent years. They have a good combination of traditional rock instruments and a horn section and are pretty up beat. Finally, I Mother Earth is more traditional hard rock. Let me know if you try any of these, and if you like or dislike. You won't hurt my feelings if you dislike them, as most people I know don't share my tastes in music... :)
hi..i was wondering if anyone else has ever heard a song by a band i'm told is called "Urgent"..i've only heard the song a few times about 15 years ago, but the lyrics have stuck with me that whole time.. they go:
You told me that you loved me
So why'd you make me cry?
You told me that you needed me
you'd never say goodbye
So why am i alone again?
You didn't even try
Still i can't get you
out of my mind...
Chorus:
You're not the one that i once loved
not the one i've been dreamin of
you look the same but you have changed
Not the one that i once loved..
I'm told the name of the song is "you're not the one", but i can't find it anywhere... if anyone can help me, i'd sure appreciate it...
someone also thought that it was recorded on a Masters of Metal album in '83 or '84... if that helps any :S
thanks again
Hello zeus
Did you have any luck finding the artist and name of that song,"you're not the one". If so could you please let me know. I have also been searching for that song. I have it on a tape supposedly recorded from masters of metal volume two. But when i go to the ktel archive site it only has a listing for the first masters of metal. I would really like to find a new copy of the song since my tape is getting old and it is not on cd. Thanks for any help you could provide.
