- 2. Kenny McCormick - He's died like 250 times or something(I haven't counted). Priceless
- 3. Chef - The show won't be the same without him. Played by Isaac Hayes.
- 4. Leopold 'Butters' Stotch - So lame he's hilarious
- 5. Towelie - A talking towel that gets stoned. How can you top that?
- 6. Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo - A walking talking piece of poo. How did they think of that one...
- 7. Satan - He's gay...
- 8. Saddam Hussein - Satan's lover.
- 9. Ms. Crabtree - Angry bus driver. Never did find out why that bird is in her hair.
- 10. Goth Kids - Hate society, drink coffee, smoke.
- 11. Mr. Garrison - Has an imaginary friend, 'Mr. Hat'. He's also a pervert
- 12. Randy Marsh - Stan's dad.
- 13. Mr. Macky - Says 'mmmkay?'. His head is really big because his tie is too tight.
- 14. Timmy - Catch phrase:"Timmaay!!"
- 15. Officer Barbrady - Idiot officer. That's his punch line.
- 16. Jesus - Has his own talk show 'jesus n pals'. Him and Satan had a boxing match
- 17. Stan Marsh - The voice of reason in the group
- 18. Kyle Broflovski - He's Jewish, and Cartman always bugs him for it
- 19. Jimmy - Crippled kid. He does stand-up comedy.
- 20. Token Black - The token black kid...ummm
- 21. Jakovasaur - Loud, dumb, and really annoying
- 22. Big Gay Al - Owns 'Big Gay Animal Shelter'
- 23. Terrance and Phillip - The boys' favourite comedians, they make fart jokes
- 24. Biggie Smalls - Butters summons him on Halloween by saying 'Biggie Smalls' three times in the mirror. Biggie starts shooting
- 25. Uncle Jimbo Kern - Stan's uncle, likes hunting
- 26. Ned Gerblanski - Jimbo's hunting buddy, has a voicebox he speaks with
- 27. ManBearPig - Al Gore made him up
- 28. Ms. Cartman - Cartman's mom. She's a crackwho**
- 29. Kennie's Parents - They are poor
- 30. Shelly - Stan's sister. Like's calling the boys 'Turds'
- 31. Pip Pirrup - British Kid, based on the Charles Dickens book 'Great Expectations'
- 32. Craig Tucker - Likes giving people the finger
- 33. Dog Poo - Dirty kid. Looks like 'pigpen' from charlie brown
- 34. Tweek Tweak - Jittery kid. His parents own a coffee store
- 35. Scott the Di** - Minor Character. Was in the Canadian episode based on 'Wizard of Oz'
- 36. Clyde Donovan - Like Kenny, he is knowledgable about sex
- 37. Ike Broflovski - Stan's brother. Canadian born, and a genius at 3 years old
- 38. Ugly Kids - Kyle starts hanging out with them when he thinks he's the most ugly boy in the class
- 39. Wendy - Stan's girlfriend. In one episode she beats up Cartman for making fun of breast cancer
- 40. Bill and Fosse - Two bullies. They like calling things 'Gay'

My favourite characters from 'South Park'. There are a ton of characters in the show, but I found the ones I thought were the most interesting, funny, or ridiculous.

There's so many good characters... it's hard to decide who to put on the list, and how to rank them
Great list, no doubting Cartman's spot at #1 for me.
