  • A pretty cool, and strange Monkees film. Pretty much the end of their careers.

  • Infernal Affairs
  • Automatically awesome because Anthony Wong is in it. Nice interesting plot that retained my interest for the whole film.

  • Rapeman 2
  • Almost as good as the first. Perfect balance between exploitive scenes and story.

  • Rapeman 4
  • Great like the other Rapeman movies. This one involves a religious cult.
  • 7/10
  • Rapeman 3

  • 7/10
  • 22/1
  • Cloverfield
  • Standard CGI giant destructive alien fare. Made slighty more interesting by pseudo-doco style ala the Blair Witch Project.
  • 6/10

  • Holiday on the Buses
  • Silly movie based on a British TV show. Goes downhill a bit after a good opening half hour.

  • The Howling III: The Marsupials
  • Starts off as a terrible but funny werewolf film, and turns into a mildly interesting and clever werewolf film. It's also funny when the Aboriginal guy with the giant beard jumped out to scare people.
  • 7/10
  • 27/1
  • The World's Greatest Sinner
  • An underground film that deserves to stay underground. Besides Timothy Carey's reasonable acting, and a young Frank Zappa scoring, there is nothing of interest here.
  • 3/10
  • 31/1
  • Super Mario Bros
  • This movie is awesome, pure and simple. I mean, Dennis Hopper, Goombas, Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo, fungi, thrown-in relevance to the games, it's all there.
  • 8/10
  • 22/2
  • Miracle Fighters
  • Another awesome Yuen Clan film, but it isn't as good as the Shaolin's (Drunkard and Wu-Tang).

  • The Battle Wizard
  • Standard martial arts film, saved by really bad special effects and a few good kills at the end.

Rapeman?

I was surprised too, but while there are rapings, they rarely take up more then 10 minutes combined, and the stories themselves are very interesting and nicely done.

The basis isn't too bad morally, as Rapeman is a business, where people come to him to try to solve their problems. For example, he once is asked by a man to rape his wife, because if he does, she will be thrown out of a dangerous cult.

However hard you try you cannot justify rape.

Dude, it's a film. I in no way justify rape in real life.

I was so curious that I actually looked it up, and it's so bizarre... (I didn't watch it, I doubt I could find it even if I wanted to).

That is probably the strangest idea for a movie ever conceived.

Haha, I really doubt it.

I seen quite a few weird movies, and Rapeman isn't really one of them. Other then the raping, which isn't too often, the rest is just a detective story.

I can hook you up with the movie if you wish, there's no hardcore scenes, with it being Japanese and all.

No, thanks anyway - I wasn't THAT interested in seeing it. Especially if the movie isn't really that strange, and it's just a detective story. I appreciate the offer though :D

It's a mystery story... with a superhero that rapes.
But still, it is easy enough to download, and I've upped the first 4 onto Cinemageddon.
