Most of these are swedish and you´ll never have heard off. Both The Smiths and Kraftwerk also should be on a list of the most underrated artists...
I actually like #2, 4, and 5, but I'll agree that if anyone thinks these bands have great names, they're overrated -- with the possible exception of Kraftwerk.
Acctualy I like Kraftwerk to, but they still are overrated. People think they are good just because they are Kraftwerk, instead of listning to the music. And acctualy I think that some of these can be both the most underrated and the most overrated, as Kraftwerk my be. People goes on rumor instead of on muic.
Oh, very clever, you put The Smiths and Kraftwerk on both your lists, I didn't notice that at first... hmmm, ok, you may overlook the comment I posted on your other list then.
For as much as I agree about Per and the Hives, I disagree about the Cardigans... Nina is one of the great european rock frontmen of the 90's and Svensson is a very decent songwriter, million light years better than Per anyway... and even if Lovefool was too much of a hit single for anyone's sanity safety, the Cardigans have had a wonderful run of quality albums with Emmerdale, Band on the Moon and Turismo... now maybe you meant The Cranberries instead of the Cardigans and then I would completely agree :)
Well anything is milion lightyears away from Per so thats not that suprising. But I do not agree with you that they are as good as they are hyped to be. I have seen so many so much better both frontpersons and songwriters than them. And no Cranberries can´t be underrated because I haven´t heard anything by them in the last, at least five years. While I throw my radio at the wall when Cardigans song #500 comes on. (Allthough I don´t have any radio to listen to anymore)
