Hottest Actors - with reasons

Tags:
  • The Rock:
  • **Ooh, that strength, those exotic looks. And he appears to have a sense of humour and doesn't take himself too seriously (*cough*Arnie*cough*). Truly the best candidate to bring back the Action Hero.
  • James Spader:
  • **All quiet intensity and barely suppressed perversion. With his aquiline nose and delicate cheekbones, he has aristocratic good looks, but his underlying creepiness always shows through. So naughty.
  • Adam Sandler (shut up!):
  • **Never has a more self-concscious (nervous, even) comedian made it so big. His explosive rage is in direct contrast to his aching vulnerability. Brings out the nurturer in me.
  • Patrick Stewart:
  • **Baldness never looked so sexy. An ass firmer than your average 20-year old, and grace and dignity in spades. Couple that with a commanding air when necessary, and you have me standing at attention, saying "Yes, captain."
  • Hugh Grant:
  • **Oh so English. Cute in a boyish way, yet his style and caddishness are all man. It tickles me when he calls someone a "dirty bitch" in that posh accent.
  • Oded Fehr:
  • **Smoky, strong, and achingly handsome. I watched The Mummy and by the end said "Brendan who?" He moves with lithe control, and his accent is meltingly subtle. Mmmmm, Israeli beefcake.
  • Keannu Reeves:
  • **The man is pretty. Full stop. I don't care if he's saying "whoa" or reading a doctoral dissertation as long as I can look at that face.
  • Jake Gyllenhaal:
  • **The best reason for cradle-robbing. Those soulful blue eyes, his earnest enthusiasm and jet-black spiky hair are irresistable. And the kid can act - talent is such a turn-on.
  • Clive Owen:
  • **Tall, dark, strong, and oozing testosterone. He's a man to the core and has that silky sexy English accent. That scene in Gosford Park where he grabs the serving girl to kiss her is one of the most swoon-worthy moments on film.

I like accents - can you tell? This is the counterpart to my "Hottest Actresses" list, which was cloned from Stooky.

I'm thinking... Noses?

If so, then I'm thinking... Ben Kingsley.

I'm thinking... he might also meet your accent requirements.

While he certainly rocks hard in pretty much everything I've seen him in, I don't think I've ever found Ben Kingsley sexy.

I hadn't noticed that almost all of these men have strong noses. I don't really know what that says about me - perhaps a strong nose indicates virility? I know that in general I like my men manly.
