What'd you think of Serenity?
As my username indicates, yes, I am Joss Whedon's hugest fan ever. :-D
I heard it sucked but I decided to give it a chance anyways. I am not a sci-fi fan so you have to know that it had an impact on how I graded the movie. I liked the film but thought the acting could have been better. I had never even heard of the TV show until the movie came out. I heard that he wasn't going to make another one (sequel) but if he did end up doing one, I would watch it.
Being a fan of Joss, what did you think of it?
I loved it to pieces. Probably my favorite movie; I saw it five times on opening weekend. :-D
I used to watch Firefly every week when it was still on TV; unfortunately, that was only for three months. Still, I connected to it hugely on an emotional level...the same way I have with everything that Joss has done: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the TV series, not that pathetic excuse for a movie), Angel, Toy Story, even his Astonishing X-Men comic book series. So, Serenity really means a lot to me; I don't think I've ever cared for any fictional characters more than I do for the crew of the Serenity.
