- The most cliche listology list of all time. And that's why I'm making it. I'll rate each one out of 5 stars, with one star being the lowest.
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind ***** (Would be 100000 if I could put it that high)
- Alien vs. Predator * 1/2
- Napolean Dynamite ****

- Snow White and the Seven Dwarves *** (to tell you honestly, I didn't like this movie. Despite being the first full-length animated movie, and completely innovative and groundbreaking, I couldn't enjoy it. It just felt completely dated, and trying too hard to be a movie for children while forgetting older audiences. I know that's what was done at the time, but I still didn't enjoy it. *** for innovation though)
- The Lion King *****
- Peter Pan (2003) *** 1/2
- The Corporation **** 1/2

This is barely even a movie, let alone horror...the only thing scary here is the incredible ineptitude of everyone involved in making this steaming pile of...I would use an analogy here, but that would be an insult to analogies in general!!!! NEVER SEE THIS!!! AND RUN AWAY FROM THE REMAKE!!!)

- Princess Mononoke ****
- Shark Tale * 1/2
- Shrek **** 1/2
- Shrek 2 **** 1/2
- Wedding Crashers ****
- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ** (Seriously disappointed by this one - Honestly: Terry Gilliam working with Jonny Depp and Benicio Del Toro on a movie based on a cult novel? It sounds like a dream come true. Sadly, the results are more comparable to a sleep-inducing nightmare: something I didn't think possible until I watched Fear and Loathing)
- Red Eye ****
- Saved *** 1/2
- A Lot Like Love * 1/2
- Ski Patrol Attack zero stars (this falls under the category of "so terrible it's actually good")
- The Exorcism of Emily Rose ** 1/2 (Why did everyone hate this so much? The atmosphere was excellent, and it was quite a nice depiction of mental illness as seen through the eyes of blindly faithful (BTW, that IS a real condition, and it IS often treated as "possession" by the religious). Never seen another supernatural horror movie to admit to nothing supernatural. Although, on the downside, it did seem to want us to think there was some sort of spiritual element, and some of the story tends to plod along while ripping off the Exorcist (among other problems). But besides this, I didn't find it to be the toilet-liner that many critics seemed to believe (for example, the one star review Rolling Stone gave it was somewhat harsh, I thought), although certainly no classic.)
- In Good Company ****
- Wallace & Gromit: Cure of the Were-Rabbit *****
- A History of Violence *** (Why is everyone calling this "greatest movie of the year"? I mean, it's not bad, but what was so incredibly wonderful about it?)
- Serenity ****
- Office Space *****
- Pulp Fiction *****
- Fargo *****
- Too Young to Die? **
- Monster in Law ** 1/2
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ****
- It's a Wonderful Life ***
- Monty Python's The Meaning of Life ** 1/2
- Monty Python's Life of Brian ****
- White Oleander *** 1/2
- Cabin Fever ***
- Road Trip ***
- Infection *** 1/2 (one of my first forays into Japanese horror)
- What a Girl Wants *
- White Noise *
- Meet the Parents ***
- Meet the Fockers ***
- The 40-Year-Old Virgin *** 1/2
- You may notice on the list a larger percentage of higher-rated movies. This is because I only re-watch movies I like, and a good number of these movies are "re-watches," plus I tend to give precedence to movies that my friends didn't hate and weren't critically-annihilated.

The list starts great with two of my favorite films (Raging Bull and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). :) Glad to see you liked them as well.
And that's why I can't believe someone with your taste thinks "Anchorman" was funny. ;)
Nice list though.
I have a special place for stupid fun movies. Any movie that takes itself that unseriously, I can't help but love. :) :) :P
Unless, of course, it trys too hard...(Dumb and Dumberer anyone?)
Try watching Anchorman in a group. Or in a different mood. I'm sure you'll like it. Unless you don't share my view of purposely dumb movies...but that's OK - it's all just taste/opinion anyway.
Nice to see a good rating of Hitchikers guide, i loved it but alot of people don't
Actually, it got pretty good reviews. Surprisingly. The only people I know who hated it are either a)incredibly stupid ("OMFG why would anyone go see crap like the Hitchhiker's Guide when there's such wonderful, true art at the cinema, like House of Wax and The Amityville Horror. This can't even come close to competing with that!" - sadly a real quote from a friend of mine); b)pretentiously Douglas Adams purist (I'll admit the purist in me hated that painful little tacked-on love story, but I was OK with all the other changes. After all, Douglas Adams DID write the script - except for that ridiculously forced Hollywood love story which another writer came by and added after his death. Bastard.) or c)Hate all movies in general.
I know quite a few people who did like it, besides me. Glad to see you liked it too :) :) :)
Or d) Are English and complain bitterly that so many of the characters were American.
I actually quite liked the film, and don't really agree with any of the "purists" who complain. How can you be really purist about this story anyway, when it started out as a radio play, became a novel, a tv program, more novels, a computer game, more radio plays, and finally a film, and underwent a fair few revisions and plot developments/additions along the way. I think the film managed to capture some of the magic of the story quite well (the destruction of Earth, the planetary production 'floor', etc.). Also, the casting was pretty solid.
Couldn't've put it better myself.
Yes, The Amityville Horror is amazingly bad. I have no idea why it's popular.
Agreed. Both the old and the new.
Sin City is an amazing film, it's like Pulp Fiction in the way it has so many storylines, except its much better thought out, and has its own style with the B&W thing. Definitely worth the five stars.
I agree. Don't ever watch it with your girlfriend though.
No "Green Street Hoologans"?
you should watch it;)
OK, I'll check it out sometime.
