No order except House is first.

are you referring to the English version of The Office or the American version. personally i like both, but the English version is better only because it has a beginning and an end that make sense, whereas the American version is trying very hard to stay original (and has done well so far with the last two episodes), but that can lead to really lame episodes - like the recent King of the Hill/South Park episodes.
you do not like South Park? i thought that would be much appreciated by British viewers.
i have been meaning to rate South Park & KOTH episodes, as well as compile a list of Peggyisms (Peggy Hill) from KOTH (one of the best: "in my opinion, Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days of year for traveling" - stupid things she says throughout the show's history). i started it a couple of years ago and then stopped for some reason...probably A LOT of work.
is Top Gear that British car show?
The English, I haven't seen the latter.
South Park is very hit and miss, some episodes (Scott Tennorman, Make Love not Warcraft, Mel Gibson one) are insanely funny, while others really make me cringe and are just idiotic. I hear that as a whole they're improving though, I'll have to check out all the newer series.
Yes, Top Gear is a car show, but to be honest it's mostly just miscellaneous vehicle challenges and banter, makes for some great light entertainment. Clarkson (the show's host) really isn't that funny though, watching him appear on other panel shows he gets destroyed by professional comedians.
On Top gear, neither of them are that good on their own. I haven't seen a single decent Richard Hammond solo show, and James May is the only half-decent one with his work with Oz Clarke. But they're just hilarious together. It's the chemistry between them which makes the show.
those are some of the better South Park episodes, with Scott Tennorman being the best of them all.
i did not know that Top Gear was supposed to be funny, i just watched it online for the cars, like when i was/is obsessed with the Mclaren F1.
I was trying to think of my five favourite tv characters the other day. The only ones I could put in there for definite were House (House MD) and Johnson (Peep Show). The other three places were debatable. Some of the contenders were Dr Cox or Kelso (Scrubs), Series 2 Blackadder (Blackadder), Super Hans or Mark (Peep Show), Nathan Barley (Nathan Barley), Peter, Stewie or Brian (Family Guy), Beech (Operation Good Guys), Randy Marsh or Cartman (South Park), Homer (Simpsons).
Flying Circus is very hit and miss, more so than post season five South Park. Simpsons qualify? If you go back and watch golden era Simpsons now I guarantee Homer will crack you up constantly. Futurama is great too. OGG? First two series predate the Office and are quality. QI? Stephen Fry is reason enough and often with great guests. Scrubs? Early Scrubs is certainly still quality even if as a medical programme House MD laughs in its face. However, remember that House MD laughs in all other programmes' faces... except perhaps Barley ;) Keep it foolish
Good to see someone liking Alan Partridge, Dark Place and IT Crowd other then me.
