I'm assuming you Ignatius is one of your favorites not because he was so likeable, but because he was so disturbingly disguting and contemptuous?

Ignatius is one of my favorite characters too. Mostly because he's enormously funny. But I also felt he was true to himself and didn't give an inch. I admire extremist, from a distance.
