Claude Rains is the greatest character actor in the history of the movies. He has been an integral supporting character in many of the greatest movies ever made. He has been the lead in many other simply great movies. He has played the Devil in Angel on my Shoulder and he has played an Angel in Here Comes Mr. Jordan, and all along he has the smiling confidence that tells the audience I am the smartest person in all these movies.
This is my fourth entry into a collection of lists I plan on doing for some of my favorite actors and actresses. Top Ten is self explanatory. Honorable Mention is my sneaky way to get some other good movies mentioned and Danger List are ones to avoid. As always discussion is encouraged. I am only commenting on films I have seen
