Tags:
- ECON 002. Introductory Economics: Macro (Required for Wharton freshmen. I did well in micro, so this shouldn't be too bad.)
- LGST 210. Corporate Responsibility and Ethics (This will finish off my legal studies requirement.)
- OPIM 101. Introduction to the Computer as an Analysis Tool (My least-looked-forward-to class. By the way, "OPIM" stands for "operations and information management" and is commonly pronounced "ope-uhm.")
- STAT 101. Introductory Business Statistics (Woo-hoo.)
- FILM 101: Introduction to Cinema (Mainly deals with film history. Should be pretty awesome.)
Cloned From:

Blech to everything but FILM 101, though OPIM 101 sounds pretty easy.
By the way, in case anyone's wondering, here are the films that I'll be watching for Film 101 (I've already seen 5 of 11):
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
The Battleship Potemkin
King Kong
The Great Dictator
Open City
My Life to Live
8 1/2
Battle of Algiers
Ghost in the Shell
A Better Tomorrow (the only movie here I've never heard of; it's a 1986 John Woo gangster movie with Chow Yun-Fat, in case you haven't either)
Lost in Translation
There is also one screening with the film TBA. Also, I have two essays to write that will probably require watching more films.
Interesting...
I hope you like Ghost in the Shell more than I did when I caught in on the big screen in Austin. Maybe I should watch it again...
Ever since it hit Criterion DVD, I've noticed more and more film classes including Battle of Algiers.
Enjoy!
Shalom, y'all!
