Classes I Took - College [Fall 2005 Semester]

  1. FNCE 100. Corporate Finance (Good times.)
  2. SOCI 001. Introduction to Sociology (I can already tell this class will be hard work. Luckily I find this stuff pretty interesting.)
  3. ACCT 101. Principles of Accounting I (I was dreading this, but I went to the first class today and I'm thinking (hoping?) it won't be as bad as I expected.)
  4. STAT 102. Introductory Business Statistics (Oh joy.)
  5. FILM 102. Reading Film (Looks like it will be lots of fun.)

By the way, here are the films I will be watching/discussing in film 102:

Citizen Kane
Meet Me in St. Louis
Bonnie and Clyde
The Conversation
The Searchers
Phantom of the Opera or The Gold Rush
Enron: Smartest Guys in the Room
Taxi Driver
The Apple (The only one I haven't heard of, this is a 1998 Iranian film by Samira Makhmalbaf)
Touch of Evil

Wow, toss The Apple, and I have seen all of them. I suspect you have some good times ahead, and not just in the corporate finance class...

You've seen a good number of these, haven't you?

It is almost always fun discussing films with a group, I find. I'm so jealous. I've got to get my booty back to school...

Shalom, y'all!

L. Bangs

I have seen all of them except Meet Me in St. Louis, Enron, Phantom of the Opera, and The Apple. I'm eager to catch many of them again, though maybe not the two films I saw just last month (The Conversation and Taxi Driver)...
