I look forward to your review of the An Actor and His Time by John Gielgud

Damn, I hardly had time to check out Listology lately, and so I totally oversaw (though not forgot) that you have read East of Eden. I'm glad you loved it. :)

I think it might have been even better than The Grapes of Wrath. After reading it I watched a 1981 USA TV mini-series version of East of Eden starring Jane Seymour and Tim Bottoms, and although it had good reviews I thought it was dreadful.

I'm currently working in Scotland (Glasgow) so I'm starting to fall very much behind with my reading schedule - I did most of my reading on the train to London each morning/evening.

Ah, I see. Hey, I was recently in Glasgow too. :)

Finally, do you read some other books you planned to read?
Because you have stop updating the list I was wondering.
No Books I Read in 2007?

I've read Pride and Prejudice, predictable but I like her writing, I guess I was in the mood...

I do (did) most of my reading whilst commuting into London by train each morning / evening. Since early last year I have worked on a couple of contracts where the commuting was minimal, so I lost the timeslot that I used for reading. I miss it greatly.
