This is a work in progress...

Simple list, but I like it. Some of these songs I don't have. I'll try getting them.

Thanks. I know it's simple but I'm not done yet. I like your list too. I've been listening to the little clips of ones I don't know.

Just for curiosity's sake, which songs haven't you heard?

Now that I look at it, I haven't heard about half of them, though I have most at the top of the list.

Oh, I noticed your mix lists. Would you be able to supply cue files or track times for all your mix lists so I could split them?

Ok, track times are done.
Except for the Old School Rave mix, which I can't see to find.

Glad to see you liked Ahril Brikha's Winter, a truly awesome tune. Heard the Nalin & Kane version of Love Parade? It's much better IMO, lots more acid.

I got 'Winter' from your list. Hadn't heard it before that, so thanks.

Why 2004 Mix of Point Zero? The 1994 version is a lot better imo - there's even a slick gated vocal part in that.

Just one of the few newer mixes I like more than the original.

I see a couple songs of my infuence on here :P Sweet. Nice job!

Not sure what you mean by the influence comment, but thanks.

Since you prefer the harder driving side of trance, you might like Chi-a.d. The track Astral Warrior from the album Virtual Spirit is a good start.

Never heard it, I'll give it a listen though, thanks.

Another track you might like...
Bamboo Forest - Sadhu
Its quite hard for a Goa track and has this driving-ish acid line.

Looks like a nice list, but:

The Age of Love - The Age of Love ... No watch out for stella club mix?

And Gouryella - Gouryella is a nice track, but I wouldn't tag it on a greatest trance list. Maybe its just cause I'm biased against most uplift, but regardless, I dont see anything deeper in it besides an energetic track.

Oh and one more thing you have both:

Three Drives On A Vinyl - Greece 2000

Greece 2000 - Three Drives On A Vinyl

k thanx

On the contrary, The Boeing mix is supreme to the stella mix. It represents a more hypnotic entrancing sound of trance, you'll grow to like it more than the stella over time I guarantee. The stella mix is very good though. I don't know Lycaeum's thoughts on it though, it may be an accidental omission.

The Stella mix is what I think of when I think of Age of Love. If I like one mix a lot, I generally dismiss the other ones, even if they're good, (but that's just me.)

I'll probably do some rearranging of this list in the future, but I do think Gouryella deserves to be on there.

what!? no sasha - xpander???

I don't like it.

lol, you're the first person i've ever heard say that

It just doesn't do it for me.
I don't think it would have been a hit if Sasha hadn't made it.

I think its more like Xpander is just not your thing, because it is definitely a very good track. Xpander was the first track I'd heard of Sasha, and I didn't have any idea of him or his music till then, so I guess my opinion is unbiased enough.

While I love Sasha as a dj (I've seen him play 3 times), I'm not a fan of his music.

really on the border of trance here. even experts would confuse this stuff as techno or whatever. we all know its trance, but your taste is really borderline. which is good. but i assume you must like house as well, if not more huh?

Hi, I wasn't receiving notifications, sorry I didn't reply.
I consider this stuff trance, and it was trance at the time it was produced, although trance these days is vastly different. I like house too, but my favourite is this stuff from 94-95. Classic trance time.

I wonder if something got mixed up, because I receive several notifications a week for this list stating a new comment has been left on *my* list...

Shalom, y'all!

L. Bangs

It doesn't show 'weekly' comments for this list. Have you been getting different comments than the ones shown? Why didn't you tell me.

I'm very, very shy...

Shalom, y'all!

L. Bangs

that's stupid

Mean comments like that are the reason why I'm shy.

Shalom, y'all!

No Hallucinogen?! ;p
How come you don't like Goa?

Goa is kind of boring.

Haha! You're hearing the wrog Goa, definetly! Acidic, pounding, trippy, melodic and complex trance music!

Wrong? I've heard a lot of goa, and I find it to be monotonous.

:( It's true Goa is centered around complex, melodic, acidic tracks and so if you don't like that you won't like most of it.
