Even though the title makes it obvious there are spoilers, you might want to consider using the SPOILER tag anyway, for when your updates show up on the "recent activity" page. It also makes it possible for those of us who want to see which movies contain your favorite deaths without actually having any movies ruined to look at the list. For example, I don't want to look at this list because I don't know what's on it.
i see... good point, never thought of that... sometimes I forget i'm the only one who thinks spoilers are stupid and people are paranoid.
You mean to say you really don't mind when somebody gives away key plot points to movie you haven't seen yet?
Thanks for making the updates!
no i don't mind... a movie that is only good when you don't have a clue whats going on is a movie not worth seeing.
I loved this particular death scene in LOTR:The fellowship of the Rings... Towards the end as the army marches in search of Frodo, there's this bearded guy (Sorry to all...I DONT KNOW ANYTING ABOUT THE TRILOGY AT ALL. Least of all the characters) who comes to rescue at the end moment and starts valiantly killing everybody but then gets shot by whom I am going to call the Boss (My apologies again, my knowledge of LOTR sucks)(hes this ugly ugly looking guy with tons of Hydra-like hair popping out, with a bow and arrow) with the help of the bow and arrow. It's actaully quite moving how he gets repeatedly shot at and continues to fight. (though it sounds bloody ridiculous). And oh, its not Aragon :)
P.S.- Can anyone help me out with the characters?
yeah i remember liking that too... i'll have to see it again to add it though... it's sort of like that braveheart guy who keeps getting up... although that particular one was funnier than it was moving.
That would be Lurtz (the leader of the Uruk-hai), and the one who dies is Boromir. I truly believe this is one of the best dying scenes in cinematic history. Of course, I'm a big fan of the novel as well as the movies, though not in the fangirl "OMG Legolas is so hot!" kind of way. In any case, even thinking about that scene and the way he says "My brother, my captain, my king." Makes me choke up a bit.
Thanks :)! Now maybe I can show off my LOTR trivia...
Most of the LOTR fan following fall exactly in the category you just described. I loved the movie too... because of the strong story but.
Wait how can this list be complete without Tony Montana's death in Scarface, sure OTT it may be, but it was cool.
Oh and i was thinking maybe to inlcude Tyler Durden's Death in Fight Club
never seen scarface, and i don't recall any deaths i liked from fight club.
