These are listed in no particular order.
Several Actors here could have been nominated more than once but i went for what i believe was their funniest work as a character, regardless of whether they have been in what i would consider 'better' comedies. i.e Bill Murray has made much better comedies than 'Kingpin' but i believe his role in that film to be the funniest character he has played.
