Outlaw Star was GREAT when I saw it, but I was much younger at the time. I may have to pick it up again. Have you seen/been able to make any sense out of Revolutionary Girl?

Well I thought it was alright, imdb says otherwise. Theres a nice theory in the plot summary section for the imdb page for it, but I'd check that out after you've seen it once.

Gotta love them Miyazaki movies... not sure exactly what kinda anime you're looking for but Miyazaki's Nausicca is allright, but My Neighbor Totoro is, while kind of a kid's movie, really really good. They're just so darn cute! Also, have you seen any of the Lupin III series? I've found it to be pretty darn good, more so with the movies than the show though.
