- 12. Blame It On Me: 8.5
- 13. The Flag: 9.3
- 14. If I Had $1000000: 9.6
- 15. Crazy: 7.2
- Song Average: 8.6
- Score: 84%
- Comment: Probably the best things these zany Canadians have made and also more probably the best thing they'll ever make. There are several great songs on here, and while none of them are as memorable as they should be, they're definitely fun while they last.
Maybe You Should Drive (1994)

- 1. Jane: 9.2
- 2. Intermittently: 8.1
- 3. These Apples: 7.3
- 4. You Will Be Waiting: 8.4
- 5. A: 7.9
- 6. Everything Old Is New Again: 7.8
- 7. Alternative Girlfriend: 7.9
- 8. Am I The Only One?: 9.1
- 9. Little Tiny Song: 8.9
- 10. Life, In A Nutshell: 9.2
- 11. The Wrong Man Was Convicted: 9.4
- 12. Great Provider: 9.0
- Song Average: 8.5
- Score: 79%
- Comment: A more-than-reasonable second album, even if none of the songs quite reach the level of Be My Yoko Ono or If I Had 1000000$.
Born On A Pirate Ship (1996)

- 1. Stomach Vs Heart: 7.5
- 2. Straw Hat And Old Dirty Hank: 7.4
- 3. I Know: 6.8
- 4. This Is Where It Ends: 7.2
- 5. When I Fall: 9.0
- 6. I Live With It Every Day: 8.2
- 7. The Old Apartment: 9.2
- 8. Call Me Calmly: 8.5
- 9. Break Your Heart: 7.9
- 10. Spider In My Room: 7.7
- 11. Same Thing: 9.4
- 12. Just A Toy: 8.3
- 13. In The Drink: 8.6
- 14. Shoe Box: 9.0
- Song Average: 8.1
- Score: 76%
- Comment: Only the third album and the formula is already getting old. All the songs start sounding alike on this one, but it's still a decent listen.
Stunt (1998)

- 1. One Week: 9.0
- 2. It's All Been Done: 9.2
- 3. Light Up My Room: 9.3
- 4. I'll Be That Girl: 5.9
- 5. Leave: 7.2
- 6. Alcohol: 5.5
- 7. Call And Answer: 9.5
- 8. In The Car: 7.4
- 9. Never Is Enough: 8.1
- 10. Who Needs Sleep: 9.4
- 11. Told You So: 9.0
- 12. Some Fantastic (Ivory & Ivory): 7.8
- 13. When You Dream: 9.1
- Song Average: 8.2
- Score: 83%
- Comment: The album title is definitely true: this is some sort of stunt. They managed to make a set of songs that, without showing any evolution from their formula, sounds fresher than the band ever did. It's only fault is that there seems to be a lot of filler and this brings the album to an unnecessary length. However, the same can be said about all their records.
Maroon (2000)

- 1. Too Little Too Late: 6.9
- 2. Never Do Anything: 7.0
- 3. Pinch Me: 6.6
- 4. Go Home: 7.1
- 5. Falling For The First Time: 7.6
- 6. Conventioneers: 7.0
- 7. Sell Sell Sell: 8.0
- 8. The Humour Of The Situation: 7.2
- 9. Baby Seat: 6.8
- 10. Off The Hook: 7.3
- 11. Helicopters: 7.0
- 12. Tonight Is The Night I Fell Asleep At The Wheel: 8.0
- Song Average: 7.2
- Score: 69%
- Comment: Wasn't this a reasonably popular one? I don't see why it should be anyway. It seems as if they'd put all their energy into Stunt and just lost it afterwards. All the songs still sound alike, and the voice is starting to annoy. Maybe they're just trying too hard.
Everything To Everyone (2003)

- 1. Celebrity: 9.1
- 2. Maybe Katie: 8.1
- 3. Another Postcard: 9.2
- 4. Next Time: 7.6
- 5. For You: 7.3
- 6. Shopping: 6.8
- 7. Testing 1,2,3: 7.0
- 8. Upside Down: 8.0
- 9. War On Drugs: 9.4
- 10. Aluminium: 8.2
- 11. Unfinished: 7.7
- 12. Second Best: 7.2
- 13. Take It Outside: 6.9
- 14. Have You Seen My Love?: 7.5
- Song Average: 7.8
- Score: 76%
- Comment: Damn Canadians, bouncing around between quality levels. One moment, they're down in a rut, the other they seem to have returned to form.
Barenaked For The Holidays (2004)

- 1. Jingle Bells: 4.9
- 2. Green Christmas: 5.8
- 3. I Saw Three Ships: 5.5
- 4. Hanukkah Blessings: 6.1
- 5. O Holy Night: 3.6
- 6. Elf's Lament: 6.0
- 7. Snowman: 5.8
- 8. Do They Know It's Christmas?: 4.0

- 11. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: 2.7
- 12. Carol Of The Bells: 3.5
- 13. Footprints: 6.7
- 14. Deck The Stills: 5.1
- 15. Christmastime (Oh Yeah): 6.1
- 16. Sleigh Ride: 2.9
- 17. Christmas Pics: 5.0
- 18. I Have A Little Dreidel: 3.7
- 19. Wonderful Christmastime: 1.7
- 20. Auld Lang Syne: 5.7
- Song Average: 4.8
- Score: 42%
- Comment: Rule #1 of every band should be not to release any Christmas albums. Really. Even the better efforts result in terminal cliché, and that's not a good thing. And this one isn't a good effort. It is interesting to point out that the BNL exclusives do stand out, but I wouldn't call that a compliment. Sad, sad, and just bad.
Barenaked Ladies Are Me (2006)

- 1. Adrift: 9.0
- 2. Bank Job: 8.2
- 3. Sound Of Your Voice: 6.1
- 4. Easy: 8.3
- 5. Home: 9.1
- 6. Bull In A China Shop: 7.5
- 7. Everything Had Changed: 7.5
- 8. Peterborough And The Kawarthas: 6.9
- 9. Maybe You're Right: 7.8
- 10. Take It Back: 8.6
- 11. Vanishing: 7.2
- 12. Rule The World With Love: 6.0
- 13. Wind It Up: 6.5
- Song Average: 7.5
- Score: 72%
- Comment: They finally managed to overcome the main problem of most of their albums: the lenght. It's not that much shorter, but it's better in that department. Unfortunately, the songs never quite reach the levels of their best, and that's a shame. It's not bad, but it could've been better.
Barenaked Ladies Are Men (2007)

- 1. Serendipity: 9.2
- 2. Something You'll Never Find: 6.7

Wow, 5.9 and 5.5 for two of Stunt's songs! Disappointing.. ;-)
Yeah, the 5.9 may be a bit harsh. I'm thinking of giving that a higher score.
And I just didn't like Alcohol enough to give it more than a 5.5
It's still their second best album :P
Would you mind if I cloned this? You'd put a lot of effort into the format, I wouldn't want to just nab it without asking..
I wouldn't mind. In fact, I feel honoured when someone wants to clone one of my lists :P
Heard Barenaked Ladies Are Men yet?
No, and I'm not sure if I'll listen to it. Maybe someday, but probably not anytime soon.
Ok, ignore that post
I probably will listen to it eventually. Just not anytime soon, probably
