Nope, never really developed a taste for them...
Fantastic range of musical taste. If only I'd been exposed to the Jazz/Swing style when I was a kid. Do you put more reverence on the vocal styling, the musicianship or the mix?
I actually wasn't exposed to much of it growing up (my parents mostly listened to Neil Diamond, John Denver, etc) but I started dancing to swing 4 years ago and now DJ for dances so I've been collecting a lot of it.
My preferences for jazz/swing lean towards the stuff that's danceable and beyond that I have to both like the singer (if there is one) and find the musicans at least decent. It's particularly hard to dance to a band if the rhythm section is lacking. My favorites of course blend both fantastic vocals AND great bands.
