Wow, this is a good idea. Do you plan on covering every year, or any other years at all, for that matter?
I think alternative Oscars should be recognized for 1968 (Wayy too many good movies overlooked) and 1994 (Not really overlooked, I just didn't like what won).
Yeah, eventually I'll do all the years from 1930 to 2004. I agree with you about 1968...what a great year! The same could be said of 1962 and 1982 as well.
