I know who Dan Futterman is, and I agree. I wouldn't blame any girl for liking him. But, I was under the impression that he was gay. Or maybe I'm just being influenced by the roles he has played.
According to imdb.com, Dan Futterman has been married since 2000. I know, I know, that doesn't preclude homosexuality.
